I have been in love with music since I was 10, and the thing that kills me the most, is music festivals.
There are a few benefits to them, and one is that if you don't have the time to go to a lot of shows, or a local hall that books some of the bands/artists you like, then a music festival is amazing cause you can spend one weekend seeing a bunch of acts.
But that's where the good stuff ends.
Festivals are expensive as hell, and whoTF needs decided that TWO weekends of Coachella was a good idea? Then when you get there everything sucks and is overpriced, most people are there to say they were there, and they leave the area looking like a warzone when they are done.
Seriously, if you love a band, find put when and where they are playing and go see them at a smaller venue. They make more, they play better sets, the sound is better, and the crowd is there for them, so the vibe of the whole experience is much better.
