This is Nils Bohlin. The inventor of the seat belt. Although he died in 2002, he still saves countless lives everyday.
He worked for Volvo, and when implemented, Volvo gave the patent for the seat belt away for free.
I've never heard his name mentioned before and I think he deserves a bigger place in history.
